Purdue’s D.J. Byrd was accused of public intoxication earlier this morning.
He was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail around 3:30 and was released about five hours later.
Byrd averages eight points per game but has lit it up in his past five, posting 16.8 per game.
Head coach Matt Painter will determine his disciplinary action during the weekend.
